Simmental/Angus half blood cows sired by leading Black Simmental bulls, such as 600U, Black Mick, and Rains Jake, provides the foundation for our polled purebred Simmental program. An extensive Artificial Insemination breeding program using leading Simmental sires has been maintained since 1992 along with some embryo transfer work. Homozygous black and polled purebred Simmentals resulting from these core Simmental/Angus half blood cows make up the major portion of our purebred Simmental cattle herd. Bred and raised right here at Bar B. In addition to our black Simmentals, we have sampled a few non-diluter, red Simmental sires. Many of our red purebred Simmentals are used in our Simbrah cattle division. Cattle are our business, but we have a lot of big bucks, turkeys, and doves. The background for this site is a view from our front porch. We would like to invite you to visit our ranch and see our purebred Simmental and Simbrah cattle in their working condition. You might just see a big buck!
